O.L. REDDISH, who has been serving as vice president of the State Fair Association, was elected President last week. Mr. Reddish has given long and faithful service on the State Fair Board and has been at the head of the swine department for a number of years and enjoys the confidence of his fellow members. kbz

Yesterday morning when the train pulled in it looked like the coaches were comfortably filled, 215 found room somewhere and at Brownsvalley a few more got on board, at New Market 250 more got on and at North Union a few more were taken on. There was a gentle rain falling most all night, and a good portion of the day. Clouds are breaking away at 9 p.m. The weather man of the signal service says the Mercury will go down to 40 degrees tonight. The shoes for Eva had to be returned, she could not wear them. OTT REDDISH got hurt in a runaway buggy turned over. Conference is in session at Rensallaere. We will be apt to have a new preacher. kbz

Ott REDDISH, prominent Montgomery County farmer, residing NW of Waveland was painfully injured in an accident at his home Friday evening. Mr. Reddish was badly burned about the face when fine coal which he had placed in his furnace exploded. Although suffering considerable pain he was able to come to a doctor´s office in Waveland where he received treatment. The attending physician is under stood to have expressed the opinion that his eyes were not affected although he was severely burned about the face. He was reported resting comfortably at his home today. Mr. Reddish, who is one of the best known farmers in the County was recently elected president of the state fair board.kbz
